“It is really important to remind ourselves as often as possible Why our mission to bring clean water to people in need is so critical. For instance, did you know that every year 297,000 children under the age of 5 die from a waterborne illness? This is just one statistic that indicates that there truly is a Global Water Crisis! However, there is hope because we are already halfway through the year, and I am excited to share with you that Vera Aqua Vera Vita is on pace to raise $200,000+ and bring sustainable, clean water to 1,500+ people in two communities in Peru by the end of the year! This hope is made possible by the generosity of you and countless others who give the gift of their treasure, time, and prayers to our mission.
An example of this hope & generosity is the success of our recent 4th Annual “Evening at a Speakeasy” Fundraiser in which we raised $30,800, exceeding our goal by $800. With these funds we will be able to bring clean water to 640 people!” …
