Third Quarter 2021 Executive Director Message

I don’t know about you but with the start of fall officially 4-days away, I couldn’t be more excited because it is my favorite season of the year with the cooler weather, leaves changing colors, football on tv, and the basketball season right around the corner plus this season contains one of my favorite holidays: Thanksgiving! This fall is shaping up to be one of the best ever because my wife, Fernanda, and I are expecting our second child, a baby girl, due in November. I am very excited to soon be holding our baby girl in my arms and seeing how our son Luke interacts with her as her older brother. Fatherhood is a wonderful gift that I am blessed to experience. All of these wonderful things happening on the home front are compounded with additional excitement for the many happenings going on with Vera Aqua Vera Vita.
From project work well underway to being amidst what will hopefully be our best North Texas Giving Day campaign ever to our growing team with two new volunteers to the establishment of organizational partnerships, we have been busy!
