“Did you know that according to UNICEF, “Every day, women & girls around the world spend 200 million hours collecting water”? This is just one of many reasons why the mission of VAVV is so important!

Fall is finally upon us and I for one couldn’t be more pumped not just because this is my favorite season of the year, but also because it is with much gratitude that I write my Executive Director Message for this quarter for we have much to celebrate! I mean, where do I even start? From having our best NTX Giving Day campaign to date in which we raised $30,750 to the impending breaking ground on construction of a water system in Las Mercedes KM11 which will provide access to clean water to 1000+ people to the many exciting campaigns and events we have upcoming in the next few months, there is much to celebrate! …”

Jacob Niemeier

Jacob Niemeier grew up in North America's heartland and from a very young age his Catholic Christian faith has been very important to him.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Science in Agriculture & Biological Engineering from Purdue University and continues to this day to uphold his Engineering license.

Jacob has a great passion for problem solving and adventure whether it is with water, the environment, travel, or people. While at Purdue, Jacob, also, recognized the needs and suffering of people in developing countries when he took mission trips to both Haiti and Africa which he credits as his inspiration for starting Vera Aqua Vera Vita.
