VAVV’s 2023 Mission Trip to Las Mercedes KM11 demonstrates the power of collective action. In just under three months, the time will arrive for Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s Mission team to embark on their annual journey to educate, empower and connect with the people in rural Peru. The lessons our Missionaries share are vital to helping the community stay healthy, by mitigating the impacts of consumption of contaminated water sources and and so they can preserve the cleanliness of the water that will flow from the engineered clean water system VAVV will bring to fullfilment in collaboration with the people soon. 

Take a moment to explore some of the reasons behind Peru’s status as the country with the highest per capita death rate in the world. Access to clean water plays a large part in efforts to “stop the spread.” Now more than ever, Peru needs our prayers and aid.

At the core of Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s project implementation is W.A.S.H. oriented solutions that look to holistically improve the lives of those it touches by securing clean Water and Sanitation Hygiene (W.A.S.H.). As a grassroots nonprofit, it is vital that Vera Aqua Vera Vita not only strive towards W.A.S.H. solutions but provides the community with the knowledge and tools necessary for its future implementation as well.

Since March of 2020, the VAVV team has been collaborating to create material for a W.A.S.H Education Program and is now proud to announce the completion of a W.A.S.H. Workshop!
