Our Planning and Engineering team, in collaboration with local governance, is diligently compiling all the necessary documentation to show the positive impact that our clean water project will bring to the Las Mercedes KM11 community. While this may require additional time and patience, we are confident in the impact of our project proposal and we are optimistic about the outcome.
Mar '23 Project Status Update: Monte Castillo's Clean Water Impact
To see the full impact of what sustainable, clean water can do for a community, VAVV explores data from Monte Castillo. Before our clean water project, this community of 7,000+ people was forced to use and drink water from highly contanimated brown water that strongly resembled chocolate milk in color. Now, they have reilable aaccess to abundant, clean water. Read this article to see the real impact clean water has on a community!

The best part is that 100% of the proceeds raised from the evening will go towards providing people around the world with access to clean water and improved sanitation. Las Mercedes KM11 has received verbal water rights approval from the Piura Government! The clean water project is making great progress towards providing sustainable change for those in need!
